The most flexible option for groups travelling with kit. Delhi to Jalandhar runs almost entirely on NH44, then a short stretch of GT Road into Phagwara.
Approximately 375–400 km, 5–6 hours by car depending on traffic through Panipat, Karnal and Ludhiana. NH44 is a divided four/six-lane highway for almost the entire distance; toll plazas are spaced roughly every 60–80 km.

Punjab Table Tennis Association · Transport Plan
Two shuttle routes serve the National Ranking Tournament. Route A collects the four hotels in the Jawahar Nagar and BMC Chowk cluster in Jalandhar city and runs straight through to the venue. Route B collects the four hotels strung along the Grand Trunk Road between BSF Chowk and Paragpur. Neither route stops for the other. Players in the on-campus hostel walk; the stadium is 200 metres away.
Four pickups in the Jawahar Nagar and BMC Chowk cluster, then straight to the venue with no further stops — roughly 50 minutes. The four hotels sit within about two kilometres of each other, so stop order follows position along the road rather than the listed distances, which differ by less than a kilometre.
| Hotel | Listed km | Bus 1 · practice | Bus 2 · matches | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ◆ | Shanti Devi Mittal Indoor Sports Stadium | — | 07:45 | 10:00 |
Bus 1 leaves Ramada Encore at 06:50 and lands players 15 minutes before the 08:00 practice session. Bus 2 leaves at 09:05 for players whose first match is in the 10:00 session.
| Hotel | Bus 3 · evening | Bus 4 · after last match |
|---|
Bus 3 departs the stadium at 14:30 for players finished for the day. Bus 4 departs at 20:30, after the last match. Both run the pickup order in reverse.
Four pickups strung along the Jalandhar–Phagwara highway, then straight to the venue — roughly 45 minutes. Running these separately from the city cluster keeps the Paragpur hotels, which are barely ten kilometres out, off a bus that would otherwise have spent half an hour crossing Jalandhar first.
| Hotel | Listed km | Bus 1 · practice | Bus 2 · matches | |

| ◆ | Shanti Devi Mittal Indoor Sports Stadium | — | 07:45 | 10:00 |
Grand Majestic and Grand Lily are less than a kilometre apart at Paragpur; the listed distances put them in an order the road does not, so the bus takes them in road order.
